Untraditional Letterform - Familiaris

Over the course of the semester, she documented found letterforms in everyday environments, transforming photographs of ordinary objects into a cohesive experimental typeface. This project culminated in a two page editorial spread reflecting on the lived experiences and themes behind her collected forms, alongside a one color 11×17” specimen chart presenting the complete upper and lowercase “font.” Through image curation, typographic experimentation, and structured grid systems, she explored how context, observation, and personal narrative can shape a functional yet conceptual typographic identity.
